Steps for getting Avaya Certified

I have been in the IT field since about 1999. I started as a Nortel Telecom Tech doing mostly moves adds and changes thru about 2006 roughly. I have done some basic help desk and Data Center Monitoring stuff but I love telecom. Everything seems to be Cisco or Avaya these days so I am trying to find the best way to maybe get certified so that I can try to get a job doing Avaya administration. Is there any books, videos, or software I can purchase to learn on my own and then take a test or should I get Cisco certified first like maybe CCENT and then CCNA Voice or Avaya?

avaya has a free training web site, I think I may have posted the link before. Ill see if i can find it.

I think this is it: www.avaya.com/learning should redirect to the training site. I know it was free earlier this year when i was working on Avaya stuff.

Thanks so much, I went to that site but it asks you to sign up and it looks like you have to be a customer, not sure but I will keep looking. Thanks
