studying for the exam

I am currently using the 4th edition of the deluxe edition of the Sybex text, is this adequate to pass the exam? I understand that this book doesn't cover the topic NAT in detail and that i need to use the ICND book from Cisco.. But is there any other topics that it doesn't cover adequately for the current exam as the book is released last year. thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums,

I have used the 4th edition of the Sybex Guide to pass my CCNA.

Of course it's always a good idea to have multiple sources but in general the Sybex book can be sufficient.

Best of luck for your CCNA.

    Regards,
    Lordy

Wendell Odom or Todd Lamelle's books are typically the most used. If you can find either of them great prices I would recommend using either of them.
    What next?

You should use Odoms book, it explains stuff in more detail and his subnetting chapter is really good, if ur a beginner.. Lammle's book seems more summarized, if dat makes any sense... good luck
