I had to make thread for this as I wouldn't feel like I really passed until did. This is the toughest certification I've completed yet and hanging around these forums helps keep goals in mind. This was not an easy test and I'll admit that I did fail on my first try. On my second try with more studying on frame relay and IPv6 I was able to pass with an 874 which I'm more than happy with.
The main materials I used were Odom's ICND2 book and the lab simulator that came with it. Also have to include CBT nuggets which is great for a change of pace.
There is no trick to passing these exams but putting in time and hard work. I think my study time for the whole CCNA R&S and was probably around 200 hours and it took me around six months.
Next for me is to just work on getting an IT degree from WGU.
