Hi, I am new to this forum. I figure I might as well start working on my certs since I've been in the IT field for about 6 years. I am going for my OS A+ this Tuesday.. gl to me!!

Anyways, on to the question. I have a book that states it's 24 and I have a practice exam that states 23. Which is it? Thanks!

One other thing, does anyone ever read a practice exam and think, how the heck can that be right? Even after you read the material you think, that must be a typo.

I'd go with 23. C:\ is the primary partition. Then, the secondary partition can be divided up into 23 logical drives. Still, you're using 24 letters, but only 23 of them are for logical drives.

P.S. I could be wrong. I'm just a rookie , too. I'd love to hear from somebody else on this one. :D

Now I'm reading that with Dynamic discs, there is an unlimited amount of logical drives. I think that has to be a typo though.. I mean, it can only have drive letters A-Z so how can it be unlimited?
