Hey everyone,
Im 27, have my A+ and will be taking my Security+ by 10/12/13. I have over 9 years of IT experience dealing with laptop/ desktop repairs as well as setting up networks for small businesses.
My question is, after applying to MANY jobs ( in multiple states ) I'm wondering if the fact that the majority of my experience coming from running my own IT business is hindering my ability to land a job?
My goal is to become a security administrator but since I lack the knowledge to be in such a position until I finish up my certs I am applying for IT support and help desk positions since that is where I would be most useful for the time being.
Thoughts?
