Hey Guys. Just wanted to share that I've been promoted! Went from Sys Admin to Network Engineer, with a nice bump in pay. I've only been with this company about 8 months, so I'm pretty happy. The previous Net Eng was slacking pretty hard, and I made it pretty obvious to the employer when I signed on that I was looking to work my way up fast. As a Sys Admin, I was assigned many of the Net Eng's tasks/projects and showed that I could complete them more efficiently and timely then the previous Net Eng. Now comes the fun part, cleaning up the mess this guy left behind!
