Passed CompTIA A+ 220-801 & 220-802
I guess Santa Claus was a little early this year.mas:
CompTIA A+
220-801
PASSING SCORE: 675
CANDIDATE SCORE: 753
220-802
PASSING SCORE: 700
CANDIDATE SCORE: 821
scaled score between 100-900
My study technique/materials:
1. First to grab: Exam Objectives from CompTIA.com - "Domain/Percentage of Examination" is very useful.
2. Overview of the exam: I used a Open source Mind Map-program FreeMind to bring down all domains and sub-headings:

3. Professor Messer's videos. (CBT = too much coffee talk.)
4. Flashcards from sites like cram- and quizlet.com
5. Rapid Review from MS Press.
6. Slideshow with pictures of cables, connectors and stuff to remember.
Next stop: N10-005 (Network+).
I wish you all luck on your future ventures!

Pompy4 Registered Users Posts: 1 ■□□□□□□□□□I too passed the 801 with 763 but I am yet to do the 802. It was not very hard and what I realize was that Rapid review book is well mapped to deal with the scenarios. Use various books to study but finish with a comprehensive review of that book. After coming from the exam I was vex with myself for not using it more.
After I finish with 802, I want to do the N10-005 Net+ too but seems I will have to do CTS from infocomm before it because of my Job requirement
Good luck all -
