I extended the lab for two more time but I stopped because for work. In November I will buy the lab again ad begin to play.

I still have a very weak area, make the exploits to work!!!!. Every often when I download the exploit I got a lot of errors when I compile.

Great to hear you are going to be back at it! I assume you are talking about the exploits in C. I thought they aren't a big part of the course.

They are not a big part of the training but it is a big part when you are attacking the machines, use Metasploit is forbidden.

I have the WAP from eLearnsecurity and I am completing that training, it taught me a lot for the web app and I hope it will help me to increase my attack surface.

Last night I completed SQL injection chapter and I will do the labs tonight, during this weekend I will experiment to get shell with sql injection, I know that will help me to.

Congrats impelse...The stars really have to align to get a shell with SQLi alone (which they often do when you are working in an intentionally vulnerable lab...but rarely in the real world). Something that helped me a lot when learning SQLi was to use sqlmap with verbosity level 3 or 4 (so you can see the payloads that are actually used). Then reference your notes to make sense of why they work.

yep, I know that in the reality you will not find very easy that kind of vulnerability and shells, but if I can do in the lab I will able to get more deep knowledge.

I read in a book today about to run sqlmap in verbose mode.
