I am a CCNP, after 8 months of studying.
The materials that I used:
For Route -> OCG
uuurgh got bored halfway through it and threw it on the shelf.
Route Simplified - This was simply awesome and very detailed. read it twice
FLG - Read this one all the way through too, it was much better than the OCG.
TrainSignal videos - Clear and straight to the point and a great Lab setup for practice.
For Switch -> OCG - read the OCG twice, it was great.
Lab Manual - I went through all the labs on the Manual
Student Guides Vol 1 and 2, nicely smplified and great for understanding concepts that you missed.
Trainsignal Videos - again well worth the money
For TSHOOT -> downloaded the topology and memorized it like my life depended on it
-> Build the topology in GNS3 and configured it from scratch.
-> Read the first 2 chapters of the OCG
-> Got some colleagues to break the lab and insert errors. Practiced by troubleshooting the broken lab.
All in all it was a fun journey, lots of new things I learned, a few boring things I wish to forget but won't.
I would say I enjoyed TSHOOT the most, it was kind of a do and die situation with those tickets and it left you with no room for error.
