We all have the programs we must have on our machines to perform our job and can't live without. I would love to hear what programs you use and why. I must have Putty, Notepad ++ & Nmap.

mRemoteNG(tabbed RDP and Putty), Editpad Pro(Alternative to Notepad++ that I prefer), VMware workstation, FileZilla, and KeePass for password storage.

Otherwise it's more specialized software required for my job.

RV Tools; since I manage multiple sites, allows me to export all my virtual infrastructure information into one excel spreadsheet without having to log into each site and manually check datastores, hosts, disk usage, etc.

PuTTY; SSH to host machines to do advanced troubleshooting.

VMware vSphere; log into my VI sites and perform management functions.

Notepad; to keep a history of my ramblings and mostly unimportant information I keep for what if scenarios (:D)

Microsoft RDP; quick remote connection to any of my virtual servers.

At home, outside of the SDC software (some of which I'll remove or keep from starting), I always have MalwareBytes, Hijackthis, CCleaner, Zonealarm, Open Office, Core Temp, WinRar, Daemon Tools Lite, Notepad (random scribbles and jot downs).
