Security + test update?

Anyone know a rough ETA when Comptia would update their test? I think the 301 came out sometime last year, so we all should still have a decent amount of time to take the 301, yes?

Did a good ole google search, and no info on this as of yet. Darril any idea by chance?

It's estimated to come out in spring of 2014. I haven't seen the objectives yet, but I do know that CompTIA has been running various workshops to create the objectives and exam items.

You can expect the current exam to retire anywhere from 6 to 12 months after the exam goes live. At the moment, you have about six months to complete the current exam before the new exam goes live.
