Passed CCNP Switch
Just passed not but an hour ago on my second attempt. I just barley failed my first attempt....it was my first exam failure so it was tough. Overall I thought the exam was mediocre. Content wise everything that was in the books (OCG and FLG) was on the exam and there were no surprises. I was just very frustrated with some of the wording. I have to say my last question was a sim and I had about two minutes left. I went through it so fast...with about 4 seconds left I went to apply my last command and forgot what I had done in a previous step (this knowledge was required to complete this command). I tried to scroll up as fast as I could, but with only two seconds left I just flat out guessed, hit enter, then BAM...time up. It was really intense haha..just wanted to share. ON TO ROUTE!

DexterPark Member Posts: 121Congrats! I know what you mean about the way they word questions, some of them are just obscure to the point of aggravation. My advice to anyone looking to advance their career would be to learn DevOps tools and methodologies. Learn how to write code in languages like Python and JavaScript. Not to be a programmer, but a network automation specialist who can do the job of 10 engineers in 1/3 of the time. Create a GitHub account, download PyCharm, play with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Automation isn't the future, it's here today and the landscape is changing dramatically.
