ptilsen Member Posts: 2,835 ■■■■■■■■■■Very interesting. While some solutions were already available, this truly expands the capabilities of non-Windows platforms. From the MS business perspective, it competes well with VMware and Citrix (though MS largely need not compete with Citrix as most of its solutions still use MS licensing). Yet, at the same time, it's one less advantage for Windows devices. A solid MDM solution combined with RemoteApp or VDI gives one more way to move away from Windows endpoints. MS will still get licensing money, but no hardware sales and certainly lower sales for its hardware partners.
