I've scheduled exam for 8 november. I've read both "CompTIA Security+ Deluxe Study Guide: Exam SY0-301" and "CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-301". As exam simulation I've used Boson and techexams' questions and I've passed both with 80-90%. What can I do more? Thanks.

I am scheduling my exam for mid november. I don't feel quite ready and was wondering how long you studied for and what your background is. I am using similar study material and have purchased Darril Gibson's online study guide as well. Thanks!

At the beginning of October I started studying for sec+ specifically. But in August and September I studied on CEH's materials, this gave me a basic knowledge of network security.
I work as .net developer and not in infosec field.
Good luck for your exam.

I passed today with 805.
I did not understand how to do one performance based-question about access controls for workstation, server, laptop but I skipped it. A little trick questions, in my opinion but if you read "CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-301" book you'll pass.

Congratulations on the pass. Glad to hear that the "CompTIA Security+: Get Certified Get Ahead SY0-301" book was useful to you. Good luck with your next adventure.
