Hello everyone! This is my first post so I'll try and make it (fairly) short.
A little background about me, which leads into my question;
I was working as a network engineer (in the US) for almost 2 years til the end of 2009, then got laid off due to outsourcing.
Decided to come over to Europe and give something new a try (I'm a dual citizen), ended up traveling around for about a year, then ended up working some odd jobs (non-IT) for the last couple years in CH (due to not being able to speak German).
Last year I decided it was really time to get back into IT, so I re-certified for the CCNA in may, studied for VCP (course is too expensive unfortunately), and currently working on the CCNA Security.
I've had quite a few job interviews in the last year, but still no bites, and I've sent out my resume alot more than I've gotten replies back. Had 2 interviews in sept for a job in CH, thought I had it, but then was told sorry...

Have since seen the job posted every week for the last month, so not really sure what to think about that.
I have listed on my CV that I traveled, that I worked the other non-IT jobs in the meantime, but have still had a very hard time getting replies. When I do get replies, I get alot of questions, and the 3rd degree (usually) about why I traveled and if I'm going to stick around, ect. I'm still young (27), so I'm not really seeing what the big deal is....
Any tips or thoughts from people who have maybe been through the same or have seen it before? Quite frustrated at the moment, as I really need a job! Also any input from fellow Europeans (dual-citizen or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for your input!
