MS Word Quick Parts Question

Hello guys,
I created a document template for my work since I am getting tired of entering the same examples, graphs, scale, dates, etc
Therefore, I created a single word document with calendar, drop-down menu, and quick parts. It works great when I used it on my computer, but when I emailed the document template I created to my co-worker. The calendar, and drop-down menu worked, but all the quick parts are empty.
I know there is a way to send a document template with quickparts, but I just could not figure it out how.
So far the only solution that I have is put all my graphs and scales pictures to the document and delete the not needed graphs/pictures.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
thm

Tell him to make sure to save the original .dot template file in a safe location just in case. HTH You may want to look here as well %appdata%\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks See if you can take the files from there and drop them in your coworkers file. You may have to go deeper into 1033 folder and 14 folder. There should be two DOTX files one built in building blocks the other is the ones you created. I would copy that file into his system and see if that transfers over the ability to use your quick parts.

I thought of that doing that. I just wondered if it can be done just within the file without sending the building blocks.
I worked with other company before and the template they sent me came with quick parts. However, the extension was .dotmStudying:
