Is this correct?

With the IP address 10.1.13.0 and a wildcard mask 0.0.255.255, should it match interface IP address with 10.1 or 10.1.13?

    In a wildcard mask, 0 is specific and 1 isn't. In that example, the first two octets are specific, and last two can be anything. With that, what do you think. :)

    It should say "match interface IP address that begin with 10.1" and not 10.1.13...right?? please don't icon_redface.gif me if I'm wrong here!! I thought its a typo error

    10.1.13.0 will match 10.1.13.0 0.0.255.255.

    You're correct. The wording is bad. It will still match 10.1.13.x, but it will also match other addresses also (10.1.x.x). Most likely a typo. They were probably shooting for 10.1.13.0 0.0.0.255 since 0.0.255.255 had already been used in another example.
