Seeking WGU IT:Sec Advice
j23evan
Hi Guys,
I have just completed my second semester at WGU, and I have all of the interesting/hard classes out of the way. I need advice on how best to tackle the remaining classes (Hopefully in 1 Semester), if anyone has recommendations. The classes I have left for my BS are:
INC1 - Integrated Natural Science
INT1 - Integrated Natural Science Applications
GAC1 - Finite Mathematics
HHT1 - Finite Mathematics Applications
QLT1 - Quantitative Literacy: Quantitative Problem Solving and Applications
RIT1 - Leadership Concepts and Applications
IWT1 - Literature, Arts, and the Humanities: Analysis and Interpretation
DJV1 - Software Development Fundamentals
TXC1 - Introduction to Programming
TXP1 - Project in Introduction to Programming
TYC1 - Introduction to Object-Oriented Design and Development
TYP1 - Project in Introduction to Object-Oriented Design and Deployment
SBT1 - Technical Writing
RGT1 - IT-Security Capstone Written Project
I have not done a Performance based class yet, havent dealt with Rubricks or Taskstream, and am unsure on how to efficiently complete the classes.
Any suggestions on what can be accomplished quickly? What courses flow well together? The above listing is how I have it laid out in my Degree Plan. I transferred in 35 CUs, achieved 31 first semester, 26 this semester and this semester ends Nov 20th.
I did have quite a bit of distraction this semester from trying to accomplish too many outside certifications and other crap, which I do not plan to do in 2014. So in 28 weeks I have 14 classes to finish.
Any advice?

I kinda wish WGU had its own Forum on here, or sub-forum. I blame JD.

You can always go to wgustudents.com, it isn't as strictly IT focused as it is here, but it's 100% WGU stuff.
