My plan is to do this also, by the 10th of the month or so. That way I can take a second shot if need be.

I'm doing the same, passed my 70-680 with 850 on the 29/11/13 so figured might as well get the MCITP, even if it will show as retired and I'll have the MCSA. Just booked mine for the 3rd!
