remote administration tools
what do you guys use for remote administration, such as remote software installs, troubleshooting etc.

Well it really depends on the platform you are trying to admin.
For basically all *nix type operating systems remote shells such as SSH are the way to go.
For windows often times remote desktop will get the job done. -
