Good morning everyone,
Background story: I was accepted from the Veterans affair where I be continuing my school and my goal to reach is Information Security Analysts. my career field was law enforcement and due to some disability I can no longer be able to do this. My experience with IT would be back in high school 2009 as web page programming and animation.
Guidance: need help where I can start my education for Information Security Analysts in the Dallas, TX area, like what degree plan I should pursue, should I be taking certification classes as well and where can I begin to start my work field in a entry level for it so I can begin getting experience which include paid jobs or internship or volunteer and most important which school to intend the ones i saw more with my field was university of Dallas which is a private Catholic University and university of Phoenix
Thank you

If you are looking to do more information security you will probably want to get a security focused certification like the Security + or CCSP.
