Question about Exchange certification

in Exchange Server & Office Communications Server Exams
How much overlap is there between the exchange certification and the 70-640/642/646 exams?

    I'm not a huge Exchange guy, but the most I saw on the those three exams was an MX record in the 642.

    Not that much overlap to be honest... You do however need to understand Active Directory (640) if you want to learn Exchange.

    Exchange covers a large swath of topic. In addition to Active Directory there is: IIS, mobile devices, mail protocols, Outlook and non-outlook clients (Apple iPhone and iPad). You will also become familiar with the Exchange alternative t failover clusters (i.e. DAG).
