1900 or 2950 switch questions

    No.

    The 1900 series is considered outdated so question will be asked for 2900/3500.

    Thanks for the info. The 3500? Is that part of the CCNA objectives? I've never seen that covered in any books i use. They all reference the 1900 and 2950

    Well, I used 3500 a lot and they are much like the 2900 that's why I mentioned them.

    The exam actually focuses on the 2900 series.

    The 3500 is also a good one to have for the BCMSN exam because it has more extensive support for QoS than a 29xx.

    Ausome, I just finished reading the VLAN chapter in Sybex 4th ed. and I was just stressing all the differences between the 1900 and 2950.

    This is one of the areas I didn't already know, so not having to know it for the exam is a huge burden lifted.
