4 days to study for 801

in A+
So like the title says I have about 4 days to study for the 801. I've passed the Sec+ so I'm familiar with the testing methodology. I've read the 801 sections for the first 10 chapters of Michael Meyer's 8th edition certification exam guide. I only missed 1 question on the sample questions from CompTIA (and on that I'm pretty sure Win 7 supports bluetooth printers). I score ~80% on the LabSim test through WGU. I am looking for advice on how to maximize the next few days. I know I'm under prepared but the testing centers around me are open Monday (9 Dec.) then closed for a month. So I wanted to give it a shot and at worst burn through an attempt. What say you?

unfbilly11 Member Posts: 100 ■■□□□□□□□□For the A+, there are a lot of free questions that you can find on the internet that closely mimic what you'll see on the actual test. Don't use braindumps, but I remember when I was looking I found the ExamCram tests in PDF format somewhere online. Those questions were very similar to what you'll see on the real thing.
I would just go through the tests and then google anything you don't know. That should be enough to pass the 801, you seem like you already have a pretty good foundation. 4 days should definitely be do-able. -

Print out the CompTIA objectives and run thru them. Make sure you know all of them. Identify any weak spots and attack those weak spots with fervor.
You can also go thru the Professor Messor videos as a quick and easy review. if you watch them on VLC player, you can speed up the playback speed. Try it at 1.5x and maybe crank it all the way up to 2.25x speed if you can follow.
VLC player has the ability to play the youtube links directly from the player. However, the max speed VLC would be ale to play would be dependent on your net speed.
Then see if there's any other practice tests you can get your hands on and do those.
Good luck.Goals for 2018:

150 MB/s != 1.5Gb/s last I looked it was 8 bits to a byte. So 150MB/s = 1.2Gb/s... I've spent enough time verifying I wasn't insane that I won't miss this on the exam but it is still confusing. -

Disgruntled3lf Member Posts: 77 ■■■□□□□□□□Yeah, I just don't think you should be allowed to round up to the nearest thousand when you're below half just to make yourself look better. But they didn't solicit my opinion. Anywho, I passed now on to the 802 which I have a month to study for.
