CCP and GNS3

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can advise me on this. I have almost finished the official guide, and I'm working on getting a lab setup in GNS3 for the lab manual. I have a router set up there that is accessible via HTTP from my system using a loopback adapter. However, when I try to discover the device in CCP, I get a message that the device is unacccessible. Has anyone seen this before? What was the solution? If you got it to work, which IOS and router did you use?
Thank you!

j.petrov Member Posts: 282I remember having this issue. I don't remember exactly how I was able to solve it though. Have you tried turning off your windows firewall? I remember I had to do this somewhere along the line to get either CCP or ASDM working. I'll take a look when I get home at my setup and see if I can provide more details in how I got it working.

willhi1979 Member Posts: 191Thanks for the reply. My Windows Firewall is disabled so that shouldn't be the issue. I'd love any information you have on how you got it working. I did some googling on it last night, but the things people did to fix it didn't apply in my case, ie. password complexity was one of them. ASDM is working fine for me in GNS3, but the CCP isn't working. I have 127.0.0.1 in the sites for compatibility mode and am running CCP as an administrator as well.

willhi1979 Member Posts: 191I got it working this morning. I tried using the 1710 instead of the 3640 and it's working, but it's saying some functionality is limited. Do you know what router you used?
