Working in Korea (DoD or other)

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been covered ad nauseum before but my Google-fu is not up to the task of finding the relevant threads. So, here goes: I'm a 25A signal officer, formerly stationed in Korea where I met my beautiful wife, and I am planning to get out of the Army and start my infosec career within the next six to twelve months. Being that my wife is Korean and I've spent some time in the Daegu area, I was thinking it would be great if I could find a job in that country - that would help her not feel so dislocated, and I enjoyed my time at Camp Walker and the surrounding area. I know there are several GS and contractor jobs in the area; we worked somewhat closely with a Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and the K-TNOSC, but I'm not very sure how to go about getting into that sort of work. USA Jobs didn't seem to pull up anything for a NEC or TNOSC. Does anyone here work in either of those areas or know someone who does?
For background on my experience level, I will have 4+ years of work somewhat remotely connected to IT management by the time I get out. I have Net+ and Sec+ and am working on my CCNA, with plans to get CCNA Security and CASP before I leave Afghanistan and hopefully CCNA Voice and CISSP sometime after that. I have a bachelor's in something completely useless - military history - and that's about it. Ideally I would like to shape my career into Infosec but I wouldn't mind being able to touch Cisco and Brocade - playing with IOS is really the best part of my day right now and I've been having a great time studying for CCNA.

I know the NEC director in Daegu. Shoot me a message. Send me some background info so I know what kind of "work experience" you have. What unit were you in when you were at camp walker? Got a clearance? How high of a clearance? Just some general things. I just came from camp walker. I worked for the area 4 LAN/WAN. The LAN/WAN manager is probably going to be forced to move soon since he has been there so long. Might be a possibility. But I can try to help point you in the right direction if that is the geographical area you are interested in.Goals: WGU BS: IT-Sec (DONE) | CCIE Written: In Progress

I was going to say, reaching out to the personnel who work at the NEC/TNOSC are going to be your best bet. I wouldn't mind going back to Korea as well.I hope you get a chance to see all the country has to offer!

I just applied for a type of Sys Admin job at Osan. I have the qualifications for it, however I don't have any connections.***Freedom of Speech, Just Watch What You Say*** Example, Beware of CompTIA Certs (Deleted From Google Cached)

Good luck! I hope you get the job - and also hopefully I'll be able to apply for a similar job here soon. I'm guessing you went to UT-A for your MIS?CCIE Security - this one might take a while... -

Good luck, I am actually a little jealous, I spent 6 years in korea (2id) and had a blast. I mainly have infantry connections there or I'd help you out. Cruwl had the best suggestion, I have seen lots of jobs for korea on those sites, not always IT though.
