Best VMWare forum for help?

Hello everyone,

I'm studying for my vcp cert, and installed ESXI as a virtual machine. I then installed VCenter Server, but when I try to create my first data center, I get no option to do so (See attached)

Can anyone tell me a good forum out there I can get help figuring this issue out?

Should be able to get plenty of help here.

Login to vCenter > Getting started tab > Create datacenter

Then add that host.

There are plenty of vmware lab guides out there. This just happened to be the one I used.

What version are you using?

If you are on 5.5 and logging in with an AD account that has Administrative Permissions to the domain and you have not added the domain or the account into vCenter (You're just using account you installed vcenter with) then you will need to log on as administrator@vsphere.local and set up the Domain as your primary account holder.
