Very Close To Having A New Job

I have currently gone through two interviews and found out today that I am the preferred candidate with reference checks to happen over the next couple of days. So fingers crossed I get the role!

It seems like an exciting role doing a jack of all trades internal support type role in a BYOD environment working with windows server 2008, exchange 2010, Linux, some networking and level 2 desktop and printer support stuff.

So it should be a role where I learn a lot! And develop some sys admin skills. This will be my second IT role after switching to IT 2 years ago from a management position.

The company itself seems pretty awesome. It has a decent size customer base and growing quite quickly but still has a start up sort of a vibe about it. All of the people I seen seemed to enjoy being there which is always a positive sign.

Don't want to get my hopes up too much until it is official but I am super excited and had to make a post about it!

Will be an awesome Christmas present that is for sure!
