I blame myself for not reading properly required amount of CPE's

So for some reason I thought I only needed 80 CPE's this cycle for my CISSP I am at 68 and have till Jan 31st to reach 80. Low and behold I get an e-mail from ISC2 that I need to reach 120 to maintain my cert. Anyone else in a rush to earn some CPE's? What do you all do for CPE's? Now I am going over past projects and what not I did at work and applying those...

For the new CISSP's out there remember the below lines....

The CISSP three-year CPE requirement is to earn and submit 120 credits total and at least 80 must be Group A (Domain-related) credits. Group A credits are for activities related to one or more of the CISSP domains. You can also claim up to 40 Group B credits each three year cycle. Group B credits are for general professional development activities such as management training or training on non-security related technology.

The (ISC)2 will send you a reminder each year that you haven't completed 40 CPEs. This policy was implement because people usually put off until the end of their 3-year cycle to start collecting the 120 CPEs needed for CISSP certification renewal.

As to what you can do to collect CPEs over the next few weeks, start by reading the CPE Guidelines (login to www.isc2.org required).
