Hi all,
I'm looking to study for the above mentioned exam and need help picking great books/study material. I am not able to pay for any professional training at this time so please only recommend things along the lines of what I'm asking here.
I have read reviews on both of these books and they are mostly not very encouraging. I'd be really upset to purchase either of these books and they are inadequate in terms of preparing me sit and pass the 70 410 exam.
Book #1: 978-1118544075
MCSA Windows Server 2012 Complete Study Guide: Exams 70-410, 70-411, 70-412, and 70-417
Book #2: 978-0735673168
Exam Ref 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012
Thanks everyone,
Jwalk33

The top book is all jumbled about and more suited to 417 than 410, 411, 412 seperately. The bottom book is very lightweight at 400 pages.
If you had access to Safari Books online you would have access to them both and the R2 updated book when it is released - just saying... I will be using both books and the free R2 book for 70-410 in the coming weeks. -

Flemeth Member Posts: 41 ■■□□□□□□□□I m going to take 410 somewhere next week and i m ll post here about the status of the R2 updates but even if they are implemented there is not much btw .
I would recommend you don't wait until March , i m gonna be surprised if the book has more updated then the items related to R2 . -

Hi Flemeth,
What R2 items are you talking about? I think I'm just going to look towards getting my CCNA for since there's so much to study materials for 410 right now.
Thanks,

SteveFer Member Posts: 69 ■■□□□□□□□□I checked about a month ago and the MS Press book was due out on the 31st of January, has it been pushed back to March or am I missing something? Bit of a pain if you want to start the 410 in the next week or 2 but the R2 book isnt out for a couple of months.
