74-409 - for people who haved passed.

in MCSA / MCSE on Windows 2012 General
Good morning and happy new year,

Been looking at my certification goals for 2014. Does anyone who has passed 74-409 know if they achieved charter member status? I know some of the specialist exams don't qualify for this status, but this exam isn't listed underneath specialist section on the MS learning site (yet).

Also, what actual certification appears on your transcript? is it 'Microsoft Specialist (MS)' or 'Microsoft Certified Specialist (MCS)'

    I would like to know the answer to this question to. I passed the 74-409 a while back and while trying to contact them, they ignored all my emails. I'm pretty sure this exam falls under MCP though.

    @Bloodmagexd what study material did you use and how hard was the exam? Any tips or advice (without breaking the NDA of course)

    Follow the MVA two day training. Do the HyperV class as well on MVA. A little experience with the product should help a lot.

    Have my exam today. Let see how it goes !

    Microsoft Chat said that charter status would be updated automatically if you passed this within 6 months of it's release. The problem is they don't have a specific date for the 6 months.

    She said that it would be updated after they set the date.

    Right now, it just shows like a regular exam, but under "Microsoft Specialist" on the transcript.
