Turning Basement into a Lab. I need flooring advise
I need some advice, I am turning a section of my basement into a Lab area. The Lab area at the moment is a 10 X 19 area. A small desk my old school white board and small end table will be just a few feet away from my 12U Deluxe rack holding my new cisco equipment.
My wife wants to place a carpet down in this area to make it look more nice as you walk in to the basement. My concern is electrostatic electricity killing my equipment if we do carpet it. Doing a sub-floor and creating a real floor is not in the budget, So I am looking for an alternative to please my wife but not kill my equipment
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Please advise.
