Any official VMware articles with agents explained?

I am looking for an article somewhere which has a list oft possible agents / processes listed and their usages, which I can forward to customers if required.
I am getting a lot of 'what is hostd, vpxa etc .) and whilst I got my own templates already, it would be nice to have something official flowing around.
I just can't seem to find official articles or PDFs with a list.
Anyone seen one before?

I'm pretty sure that the Clustering Deep Dive book covers those, but again...not official.

I've seen this covered in official vSphere training materials before, but not in a PDF.VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012
