Got a 933/1000 on the CCENT (ICND1 100-101) :)

Study resources used:
  • Cisco CCENT/CCNA ICND1 100-101 Official Cert Guide
  • Packet Tracer
  • Equipment at the college I got my associates from a couple years ago. My old teacher let me use the devices, great guy
I read the book and took written notes along the way
Did all the exam preparation tasks
Did the practice tests, and bought more (the premium edition of the book) - it was only 12 bucks
Practice subnetting a lot - Subnetting Practice Questions

    Congrats! What scores were you getting on the pearson practice exams then? I hate them, but I too paid for the extra so am going to do them before I start on the Boson ones.

    I was scoring in the 800's on them. Studied up on the weak points and took them all again.

    Did you find you memorised some of the questions when you re-took? I just did another practice exam there, got 933 (funnily enough) but it had around 5 I distinctly remembered because I analysed to the max when I found out I got them wrong! Haha.

    Also did you think they compared at all to the real exam?

    Haha nice score. Yeah there are some questions that were the same, and some ones that were new. In regards to comparing, I do recall a few questions being similar but not exactly the same.

    During test, can I write down on a draft tables for subnetting, so I can go faster?

    Yep, they give you a laminated paper and a marker. I took time in the beginning to write down prefixes, increments, and mask octet values (the table in Odoms book)
