I'm lockout my T41

I totally forgot my BIOS password to my IBM T41 password. I called IBM and they said" I need to replace my motherboard." Which will cost $600.
I need your help out there, If you may know of any other alternatives. Thanks all.

disconnect the BIOS battery, run out for a cup of joe, come back, reconnect battery, see if BIOS reset itself.

Its hit and miss, but its worked for me on some A3x series IBMS.

And if for some reason that doesn't solve it, try googling for resetting the t41 to factory defaults.
