Unfortunately, there is really no one area just to focus on. Cisco does a good job of testing for all areas a CCNA should know. What have you been using to study? I don't know how you've been preparing for the exam, but the first time I took it, I made the mistake of only using Cisco Press Owen's CCNA study guide and Boson's simulator. When I took the test, I quickly realized my mistake, failing with ~750. On the recommendation of the forum, I purchased Todd Lamle's 5th edtion book. It was the perfect compliment to Owen's book. I took the exam again after another month of studying and passed with 948. Hang in there and good luck on your studies. -

KGhaleon Member Posts: 1,346 ■■■■□□□□□□After hearing this, I'm pumped to take my CCNA again soon. I spent most of the day studying the material I lacked. Congrats, did you get a lot of questions relating to switches/Vlans/VTP/etc?

Tons of questions on switching, you have to know STP, VTP, VLANs and everything else associated with these technologies.
After that being said, don't just focus on switching. I had questions that pretty much covered all the exam topics, except ISDN.
It's important to keeping your momentum going...keep taking the exam. -

But I'm still studying deeply the thoery about how network works like how information travel to the network. I finally understand when I read again my Sybex book although it's 4th edition. I'm also using Boson, router sim, Sybex Virtual Simu. Anyway again wish me luck and congrats.
