VCP 5 Exam has two variants VCP510 and the VCP550

VMware released a new exam to qualify candidates for the VMware Certified Professional 5 – Data Center virtualization (VCP5-DCV) Certification.
This new exam (exam code VCP550) is based on vSphere V5.5, whereas the existing exam (exam code VCP510) is based on vSphere V5.0/V5.1.
Passing either exam earns a VCP5-DCV certification.

Any idea on when to expect retirement of the VCP510 exam? Is it typically quite soon after the new exam release?

Just a heads up that the VCP550 is longer and has more questions..

VCAP5-DCA is in the process of updating. Note that the VCAPs are going the other direction - the latest (VCAP-DTA) has 23 questions and is 3 hours.
