70-642 Pass!

KoldKold Member Posts: 17 ■■■□□□□□□□
Just passed today with an 860. Studied for about 4 weeks back in September, then took 3 months off due to work/travel. Just started studying again this month (yay resolutions) and passed it today. Used the MOAC Labs/book, CBT Nuggets, Transcender practice tests, and lots of technet/labbing.

Hoping to knock out the 640, 646, and 680 in the next 5 months. Any opinions on best videos for those upcoming exams? I prefer to start with video overview, then move into a book to drill down to more specific details. Thinking of doing CBT Nuggets again, but not sure if Trainsignal or something else is better for the 640.

I just passed 640 and am going for 642 next. I found the CBTs to be not particularly good for this one, but Trainsignal wasn't bad. There are some good videos on youtube for Certificate Services, which seemed to be dealt with HEAVILY in the exam.

How much IPv6 did you find on the 642?

The Wiley Plus book. I'm a WGU student, so it was the text (and labs) they provided. May buy a different book for the 70-640.

I didn't find much IPv6 on my test at all. In fact, I can't remember a single specific IPv6 question, with the exception of knowing the requirements of DirectAccess. Definitely worth knowing in case though!

Congrats on the Pass. For the 640, I found the CBT Nuggets to be of great help.
