- Windows server 2012
- Windows server 2008
- Windows 8.
- Windows 7.
- Backtrack
- Kali
I have three HP servers and I installed ESXi 5.5 on them and I created some VMs. Anyone can help me to know the roles of each VM? Like:
- Why I need to use windows 2012?
- When to use windows 2008?
- Shall I enable AD on both of them?
- One domain or two different domains?
- IIS?
- Software should be installed on any OS.
- Shall I install exchange server or no? and if it is required on which server I should install?
- etc.
Please if you have some info about the setup of the lab or any helpful note, reply to me.

cyberguypr Mod Posts: 6,928 ModAbsolute overkill in my opinion. Maybe use a Kali VM, one Metasploitable or Damn Vulnerable Linux along with a Windows host.
I haven't searched but I'm positive there are a few 'CEH lab' threads here. You may want to look at those. -
