I like to thank you guys on the TE for all the information you put out on the forums. Today I passed ICND1 100-101 with a 907/1000 and some of the study methods you guys provided was very helpful.

MrPuzzlez make sure you really have Subnetting, OSPF and your show commands down.

I'm taking a day or two off from reading but I have already started watching the CBT Nuggets. I'm hoping to be ready in mid-March.

    Congrats on the pass!
I'm taking mine on Friday. How intense are the subnetting questions? Is it just like quick checks to make sure a pc is setup to be in the same subnet as the rest of the network type stuff? I do okay with the simple subnetting questions.

The subnetting questions are fairly straight forward if you have been practicing subnetting for more than a week.

For me, subnetting is a breeze. Having a slight difficult time with OSPF, but will get the hang of it with time. Thanks for telling me about the show commands because I have been somewhat overlooking them. I can, however, do interv-lan routing with a L-3 switch. I swear it's the coolest thing in the world!

Also, it really helps to be mathematically inclined!:D

I guess I was lucky with OSPF as all my prior Routing and Switching experience is with the US Army in a tactical environment and we use Cisco equipment running OSPF. I have not really be allowed to play with everything but have always had to use show ip ospf neighbors and did a lot of port security.
