Passing score verification

Just wanted confirmation on what I think is the breakdown on a passing score.

Here is the way I see it after all I have read through:

58 questions
50 graded questions

1000 total points
700 pass

= must get 35 questions correct to pass.

I am about three weeks out (probably playing it too safe) from taking my 270. I have almost thoroughly gone through the first MS book on 270 and will start brushing up on the SP2/firewall extras, then exam prep.

If there is 50 graded questions, why 8 questions for! Don't we need to answer those 8 ungraded questions.

You need to answer all questions because you won't know which are the ungraded questions, they will be mixed up with the graded questions. The ungraded questions are basically beta questions which eventually may end up in the exam as graded questions.
