There is no upgrade path from MCSE 2003 to MCSE 2012 - you will have to start off again with the Server 2012 exams..

410, 411, 412 + 413/414 or 415/416

It does, but you need the previous exams for it to qualify for the upgrade. You would need to be a MCSA:2008 to take 70-417 and upgrade to MCSA:2012.

They retired the MCSE 2003 to MCSA:2008 exam last year, so that is no longer an option.

Thanks. I picked that up from one of the Tech Ed 2013 broadcasts. So I guess it's start all over again

Not to thread hijack… but Can you upgrade with the MCITP: EDA (70-686) certification?

@LittleBit - Yes, it's on this page...

You can upgrade these certifications to the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification.
MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7
