Dead 2950?

Hi everyone,
I think my 2950 is dead, but I need some input.
The switch isn't accepting any input from the keyboard, at all. It's been rebooted a few times, but I'm not able to type in any commands.
The same console cable works perfectly with other 2950's and my 2611's, but nothing with this one particular 2950. Should I just take it out back, or is there any hope for it?
Thanks!
Edit: I can see the on-screen logging when a port goes up/down, and it seems to be switching, just no console access. Telnet is down and my SSH credentials aren't working...

Holding the mode button with power reset looking at LEDs etc, all explained in the doc. That's all i can think of.Networking, sometimes i love it, mostly i hate it.Its all about the $$$$
