Can someone explain to me how LLQ determines that an interface is congested?
Thank you

Dieg0M Member Posts: 861If you lower down the buffer with bandwidth command, will LLQ take effect at this rate? Also, if the LLQ is nested in a shaping policy, will it queue only when shaping policy rate hits?Follow my CCDE journey at www.routingnull0.com

networker050184 Mod Posts: 11,962 ModAre you talking about the bandwidth command on a router or L2 switch queuing? Either way you are not changing the size of any buffers.
If it is nested in a shaping policy yes when the shape rate is hit.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -
Dieg0M Member Posts: 861Ok. So are packets marked for LLQ prioritized only when the buffer fills or always?Follow my CCDE journey at www.routingnull0.com
