2279b microsoft press book for 2003 good for preparing for mcsa 2012?

Hi
I am from Calcutta,India and I enrolled in an IT training center in Calcutta for an offline course of MCSA 2012 where I was offered a Microsoft Press book titled "Microsoft Official Course 2279B Planning,Implementing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure" as study material.
I told the center that I wanted to do MCSA 2012 and the counselor there advised me to enroll for MCSE 2012 instead of MCSA 2012 but gave the above book for the first paper which is of 2003 version.
Isn't that fraud and cheating?
Should I not protest? Or it is ok for preparations for Server 2012?
Please advice me.
