VICs on 2911

So I'm about to embark VIC2-4FXO 4PORT and VIC3-4FXS/DID 4PORT on CISCO2911/K9.

The Cisco documentation on installing cards on ISR looks general.

Do you just fit VICs into 2911 after emptying the slots and turn the power on?

Do I need to do anything special on 2911 or is just plug-and-play?

Not sure but some Vic-Versions wont work with ISR

But the Vic2-2FXo would.

Yes the VIC2 and VIC3 cards will work fine in an ISR2 - but you do need a PVDM3 (or PVDM2 w/adapter) as well.

Yes, seems I need a DSP along with license to use CUCM.

Yes, the licensed features need to be "unlocked" on the ISR2 routers - You can use the demo license, but it's only good for 8 weeks.

By the way, I couldn't find any videos on installing VIC and DSP cards/modules on 2911.
Is it pretty simple and straight forward? I hope I don't break myself a thousand $$ worth equipment.

You don't need a video LOL they just pop in - the PVDMs are like installing RAM in a PC.
