Both. Whichever you enjoy the most as they are 2 different worlds.
My last coworker was a Systems Admin for specifically Cloud Services. Made 140k a year plus a 12k bonus per year at the MSP I was at. Was absolutely fantastic at what he did.
By the same means, I know network engineers that make closer to that as well and are as happy as can be with CCNP skills but they are also at MSPs. Most the ones at companies I know make 6 figures as seniors but you make a company money you get more money
Let me put it this way. Despite what I said above for financial reasons, do what you are going to enjoy doing for the next 10,20,30 years otherwise it is going to be a long sucky career
