What do you enjoy/like about networking?

as the title says, What do you enjoy/like about networking?

When I was looking to leave desktop support, I went down the networking path because I saw it as clean and logical (like math, which I enjoy). System administration, on the other hand, seemed messy and obscure to me in ways.

I found later in my career that this was simply because I had been through the CCNA academy and understood networking from the wire up. I still enjoy networking in a different way because of that deep understanding. But I've found that I can feel the same about Systems with a little work and study. I wish I had a background in software development and computer science, though. That would make things "click" much faster at times.
