Some questions about 70-270

Hi, I recently got A+ certified, and I am now pursuing 70-270. I was just wondering, once you are certified in 70-270, are there any requirements for renewal, or is it like other Microsoft exams where the exams simply get discountinued after some time. Also, unlike 271 and 272, is 70-270 only one exam? Thanks guys.

270 no renewal, will eventually get discontinued, only 1 exam but used in conjuction with MCSA/E
