Gearing Up For New Job Search, Looking For Resume Critique
bugzy3188
Hello All,
After working as an IT Analyst at my current place of employment for almost 2 years now and receiving a very disappointing raise after having one of my semi-annual reviews skipped, it is time for me to move on. Over the next week I plan to overhaul my resume, Linked-In Profile and take my resume public in an attempt to move on to bigger and better things. I really want to land a career in an enterprise level environment, I am currently focusing my studies on networking and need daily exercise for my mental muscles, but I digress. I would very much appreciate it if you guys/girls could take a look at my resume and give me some constructive criticism. Also, I am looking to make more technical connections on Linked-in, if anyone is looking to do the same, PM me
J
.
Thanks!

Overall I like how clean your resume looks.
I'm not sure if anyone agrees with me on this, but the statement "
People person with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills."
should be proven during phone or in-person interview. I never mention anything about my interpersonal skills in resume, because I can show that during the interview process. That's just me though, I guess.
People may ask you to be specific in what you have done. For example, in the technical section of your resume, it says you have worked on routers, switches, servers, etc. People might ask you which vendors or models of routers, switches, and etc that you have worked on, or what kind of issues were resolving on regular basis.
